About me
I take global brands into India, and Indian brands across Asia. Thirteen years of it, and I've never once learnt a market from a report.
I started out as a journalist, running a newsroom in Kuala Lumpur before I'd graduated. Then two years at an advertising agency in Guangdong, where I learnt how differently the same idea lands in a new market. I came back to India in 2015 and started Laudco to help brands get that right.
Today I'm in Singapore. My weeks are split between clients, classrooms and travel: I teach at NUS, the University of Southampton, Masters' Union, Tetr and the IIMs, I co-founded Rufa Beauty in 2022, and I'm in a new market every couple of weeks. Meeting people is still the fastest way I know to understand a place.
